Alayna

Executive Director

Involved with Three Little Pitties Rescue since its inception in 2018, Alayna is the heart and soul of the organization, driven by her deep commitment to animal welfare. Her journey into rescue began as a hobby, sparked by the urgent need she witnessed in her community. She recalls, “I saw people posting on social media about dogs in terrible conditions, with no help in sight, and shelters overflowing. I started rescuing just a few at a time with friends, and it quickly grew to over 1,000 lives saved in the first year alone.”

Alayna’s visionary leadership has redefined the mission of Three Little Pitties Rescue. “What I love most about our rescue is how we've created more opportunities for dogs of all breeds and sizes to find their perfect families, even across the country. By diversifying where we market our rescued animals, we're achieving faster adoption outcomes and giving more dogs a chance at a new life.”

Married and a proud mom of two, Alayna balances her family life with her passion for animal rescue. Under her guidance, Three Little Pitties Rescue continues to thrive, making a tangible difference in the lives of countless animals and their future families.

Jenelle

Director of Operations & Finance

Jenelle oversees the day-to-day operations of Three Little Pitties Rescue, ensuring that all programs run smoothly and efficiently. Her journey with the rescue began in 2018 when her then 9-year-old daughter expressed a desire to volunteer at a shelter. After being turned away due to her age, Jenelle discovered Three Little Pitties Rescue through Petfinder, where they found the perfect opportunity to give back by fostering animals in need.

What started as a simple act of kindness quickly evolved into a passion for helping animals. Jenelle eagerly sought ways to contribute more, eventually becoming an adoption coordinator and later expanding the foster program in the Pacific Northwest. Her dedication has led her to her current role, where she witnesses the joy of animals finding their forever homes.

Residing in Lake Stevens, WA, with her supportive husband, three children (including an older daughter and younger twins), and two beloved dogs, Jenelle is a true advocate for the rescue community. She cherishes the opportunity to make a difference and looks forward to continuing her journey with Three Little Pitties Rescue for years to come.

Cynthia

Director of Adoptions

Cynthia grew up in the Latin Houston community, where seeing strays was common. It wasn't until she moved to the East Coast and adopted her own dogs that she recognized the extent of the stray and neglected animal population in Houston. A life-changing encounter with an emaciated pit bull near a busy highway spurred her passion for helping underdogs—those strong breeds and medical cases often overlooked.

In 2018, Cynthia joined Three Little Pitties Rescue, where she has dedicated her efforts to saving thousands of animals. As the Director of Adoptions, she proudly champions an organization that embraces all breeds, ensuring every dog finds a loving home and no animal is turned away due to breed or medical needs.

Lainey

Clinic Director

Lainey oversees clinic operations at Three Little Pitties Rescue, ensuring that all animals receive high-quality medical care and attention. With over 14 years of experience in animal welfare and veterinary medicine, she joined Three Little Pitties in early 2021 and has been leading the medical team since.

Lainey is dedicated to advocating for pets who need it most, particularly focusing on underdogs, including those requiring extensive medical care and larger bully breeds that often struggle to find homes.

At home, she is a devoted pet mom to four fur babies, each at various stages of life and with special needs, while also being a mother to three children. Her commitment to animal welfare is evident in both her professional and personal life, making a lasting impact on the animals and families she serves.

Olga

Director of Behavior & Intake

As the Director of Behavior & Intake at Three Little Pitties Rescue, Olga has been an essential part of our team since the beginning. With eight years of experience in dog behavior modification, she is dedicated to ensuring that each animal receives the tailored behavioral assessments and intake procedures they need to adapt and thrive in their journey to find a forever home.

Olga's deep understanding of canine behavior enables her to address a variety of challenges with compassion and expertise, helping dogs feel safe and loved. A devoted mother of three and a passionate dog lover, she brings a personal touch to her work, treating every animal as part of her family. Olga’s commitment to helping misunderstood pups find their way shines through in everything she does, making her a cherished advocate for the animals in our care.

Jodi

Director of Community Outreach

Jodi leads the outreach efforts at Three Little Pitties Rescue, dedicated to raising awareness and educating the public about responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Her team actively works to provide vaccinations and spay/neuter services in underserved communities, emphasizing the importance of proper pet care and compassion for all animals. Jodi became involved with the rescue four years ago after meeting Jessica Klonaris while volunteering at a local shelter. Inspired by the mission to help animals in need, she quickly found her calling in outreach and education.

In addition to her impactful role at the rescue, Jodi is a full-time teacher, married, and a proud mother to her children. Her experience as an educator enhances her ability to engage with the community and spread awareness about the importance of animal welfare. Jodi's passion for helping unwanted Texas dogs find loving homes drives her commitment to making a difference in the lives of both pets and their families. She takes great pride in witnessing the transformation of these animals as they flourish in their forever homes.

Jessica

Director of Fosters

Jessica oversees our foster network at Three Little Pitties Rescue, coordinating the care and support of animals in temporary homes until they can find their forever families. As the best matchmaker in the rescue, she skillfully pairs fosters with dogs and cats that perfectly fit their households, pets, and lifestyles. Balancing her role as a full-time teacher, she manages a busy household with her husband and children, all while passionately dedicating time to support our fosters and volunteers. Jessica is committed to ensuring that each animal receives the love and care they need during their transition to adoption, making a significant impact on the lives of countless pets and their future families.
