At Three Little Pitties Rescue, we rescue animals off the streets and from shelters in Houston, and they deserve nothing but the best. While we do adopt locally if we find the right fit, the reality is that thousands of animals are waiting for homes here, with many facing dire circumstances each day.

Our relocation program aims to be part of the solution by connecting these deserving pets with families in cities where adoption options are fewer. By transporting them to the Pacific Northwest and East Coast, we help them find loving forever homes, giving them a chance at a brighter future.

Transporting up to 300 pets every two weeks

Three Little Pitties Rescue is a grassroots non-profit committed to rescuing animals and preparing them for their forever families through high-quality care, vetting, and training, before matching and transporting them to loving homes.

We are proud to be USDA certified and operate an in-house, private transport service exclusively for quarantined animals. Our dedicated team members care for the animals throughout the journey, ensuring they are never left alone. These transport team members have been with us for many years, and together, we have become experts in providing safe and compassionate transport for our furry friends.

Step 1:

Loading Day!

Every other Thursday, fosters bring their dogs one by one to the transport bus after vet checks, while cats are dropped off earlier at our rescue and loaded last. The day is filled with emotions, with many tears as pets prepare for their new journey. A big thank you to Friendswood Church for graciously allowing us to use their lot for this important event.
Step 2:

The Journey!

The 2 to 3 day journey from Texas to either the PNW or East Coast is filled with care and attention. Our team lets dogs in and out of their crates for potty breaks, ensuring everyone stays happy and clean. We have two drivers who alternate shifts, while puppies and cats remain safely in their crates. The only stops are for gas and human potty breaks, making for a smooth ride for all our furry passengers.
Step 3:

Adoption Day!

The buses make stops at pre-arranged locations to meet thrilled adopters (or fosters), thanks to our wonderful partnership with Petco! These joyful reunions are the highlight of the journey, filled with smiles and wagging tails as pets finally find their forever homes.
