What your adoption includes

Prepared for the journey. Supported for the future.

When you adopt from us, you’re not only gaining a new family member but also helping to address the severe overpopulation crisis in Texas. With an estimated 1,000,000 strays in Houston alone, and around 82,000 pets euthanized annually in Texas shelters, your adoption plays a crucial role in making a difference.

01

Veterinary preparation

Adoption fees help provide immunizations, spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, deworming, preventatives, a health certificate, feline FeLV/FIV testing, and heartworm care when needed.

02

Travel preparation

Temperature-controlled transport, trained staff, crate and leash preparation, and a martingale collar for eligible dogs help make the trip home safe and comfortable.

03

Ongoing support

Individualized behavior planning, partner offers, and continued guidance from the rescue team help every adopter and pet settle in with confidence.

Tailored training for long-term success

Prepared for a lasting match.

With more than 16,000 successful adoptions and outstanding Google reviews, the rescue prioritizes thoughtful matchmaking and long-term success. At the two-acre Texas facility, on-staff trainers assess animals and build individualized behavior plans that may include crate training, leash walking, socialization, and practical home-life skills.

Adopters can meet their future pet through a video call for a more personal introduction, then continue with guidance from the adoption and behavior teams.
