What is Houston Is Scary?

For a homeless animal,
help cannot come soon enough.

Houston can be a scary place for a homeless animal. For dogs and cats facing hunger, injury, illness, or the risk of euthanasia, help cannot come soon enough. Houston Is Scary is our campaign to grow Pit Crew—Three Little Pitties Rescue’s monthly giving community—to 100 monthly donors and help us keep saying yes.

Why $25 a month matters

Rescue is a promise
we keep every day.

Rescue continues long after an animal is brought to safety. They need food, medical care, a safe place to recover, and support until they are ready for a family. Your $25 monthly gift helps fund that ongoing care and gives us dependable support for the next animal who needs us.

100 people giving $25 a month

$2,500 every month

$30,000 a year to help save lives

The impact of reaching the goal at $25 each; this is not a report of funds raised.

Real animals. Real reasons to say yes.

Behind every rescue is a life that matters.

Supplied campaign story artwork of Mimi and her three puppies

Mimi & her babies

Found beside a busy street in Rosharon, Mimi was injured and needed an amputation. Her three vulnerable puppies survived severe weather. Three Little Pitties rescued this family with the help of supporters.

Magnolia

Found in Houston, Magnolia had been thrown in the trash and left alone, severely injured with maggots in her wound. This bottle-fed baby was rescued by Three Little Pitties because of our supporters.
