What Is the General Funds Campaign?
Our General Funds Campaign is the backbone of everything we do at Three Little Pitties Rescue. Unlike targeted fundraisers tied to a single animal or event, this campaign supports the full spectrum of our rescue work — from the moment we pull a dog from a shelter to the day they walk out the door with their forever family.
Where Your Donation Goes
Every dollar you contribute directly fuels our mission. Here's how your generous donation makes a difference:
- Veterinary Care & Medical Treatments — from vaccinations and spay/neuter procedures to emergency surgeries and ongoing health treatments.
- Foster & Boarding Supplies — food, bedding, crates, and enrichment toys that make our foster homes comfortable and nurturing.
- Transportation & Rescue Pulls — safely moving animals from high-kill shelters, often across Texas and beyond.
- Rehabilitation & Behavioral Support — helping dogs who've had a rough start learn to trust people and thrive in a home environment.
- Adoption Events & Outreach — spreading awareness and connecting rescued animals with loving adoptive families throughout the greater Houston area.
Why Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever
Pitties, bully breeds, and mixed-breed dogs are among the most misunderstood and overlooked animals in shelters today. They wait the longest, face the highest euthanasia rates, and often need a little extra patience and love before they're ready for adoption. At Three Little Pitties Rescue, we never give up on them.
Our fosters and volunteers pour their hearts into every animal we take in. But the reality is that rescue work is expensive. Medical bills, supplies, and operational costs add up quickly. Your donation — no matter the size — directly extends our capacity to say "yes" when a dog needs us most.
"Saving one dog will not change the world, but surely for that one dog, the world will change forever."
How You Can Help
There are many ways to get involved and make a meaningful impact:
- Donate to Our General Funds Campaign — any amount helps us keep our doors open and our rescues running.
- Become a Foster — open your home to a dog in need while they wait for their forever family.
- Volunteer Your Time — from transport runs to adoption events, there's always a way to pitch in.
- Share This Post — spread the word on social media and help us reach more animal lovers in the Houston area and beyond.
- Adopt — give a rescued pup their forever home!
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are incredibly grateful to every single person who has contributed to our mission — whether through donations, fostering, volunteering, or adoption. Because of supporters like you, we have been able to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome hundreds of deserving animals.
