A new coat. A new life. For Dolly.
Her name is Dolly — and we chose that name very intentionally. This girl’s journey is going to spread joy, generosity, and love.
Found in Houston
She was suffering in plain sight.
Dolly was found all alone at a gas station in Houston, with people walking past her and going about their day.
No one stopped. No one helped. No one was even looking at her.
But then she trusted our teammate. She got up, tail wagging — as if she knew this was the moment everything was going to change.
The care ahead
A new coat is only the beginning.
These weren’t simply knots. Thick, heavy mats were pulled tightly against Dolly’s body, restricting her movement and making it difficult to walk — or even jump into the car.
Now her care includes grooming, medical attention, nutrition, comfort, and rehabilitation.

Dolly isn’t invisible anymore.
