Texas roots. Nationwide love.
Connect a Texas rescue pet with a Northeast home.
The rescue’s adoption page describes Northeast transport and names New York, Connecticut, Vermont, and Pennsylvania among its pickup states. Living in the Northeast does not mean your pet is already nearby.
Plan the match before the miles
Review current profiles and ask the adoption team about temperament, medical preparation, household fit, and a virtual introduction. The team confirms individual eligibility and travel readiness before the journey.
Published Northeast pickup options
New York, Connecticut, Vermont, and Pennsylvania are named pickup states. Buffalo, New York and Brattleboro, Vermont are also described as US pickup options for Canadian adopters. Confirm an exact stop and schedule; this page does not add routes in other Northeast states.
Outside a named pickup state
Families outside the listed transport regions can discuss meeting at an available pickup or coming to Texas. Ask your coordinator what is practical for your location and chosen pet before making travel plans.

Questions about northeast adoption
Can I adopt from a Northeast state that is not listed?
Discuss your location with the rescue. The published option for adopters outside transport regions is to meet at an available pickup or travel to Texas, subject to a confirmed plan.
Does the rescue deliver directly to Canada from the Northeast?
The published Canadian options are US pickups in Buffalo and Brattleboro, plus Bellingham in Washington. Direct Canadian delivery is not established by that information.
